Axar Patel’s stunning catch removes Brook
India all-rounder Axar Patel produced a spectacular catch to dismiss England captain Harry Brook during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, giving India an early breakthrough while defending a huge total.
The moment came in the fifth over when Jasprit Bumrah deceived Brook with a clever slower ball. Attempting a quick pull shot, the England batter mistimed it badly and the ball floated high over the covers.
Axar tracked the swirling chance while running back and then dived forward at the last moment to grab the ball inches above the turf, completing a brilliant catch that stunned the crowd.
