BCCI clears MS Dhoni of conflict allegations

The BCCI ethics officer has dismissed conflict-of-interest allegations against former India captain MS Dhoni, ruling that the complaint linked to his role in the IPL had no merit.

After reviewing the case, the ethics officer concluded that Dhoni’s association with the league did not violate board guidelines. The ruling effectively closes the complaint.

Dhoni maintained he had always followed the rules. “I have always respected the regulations of the board and the game,” he said.

Sources involved in the review also confirmed that no breach of BCCI norms was found.

The decision clears the former Chennai Super Kings skipper of any wrongdoing and allows him to continue his cricketing involvement without restrictions.
