Hussamuddin wins Nationals title in style
Mohammad Hussamuddin claimed the gold medal at the National Boxing Championships this week, sealing victory in the final to underline his return to top form.
The experienced boxer controlled the bout with sharp combinations and disciplined defence, earning a unanimous decision from the judges. “I wanted to prove I’m back at my best,” Hussamuddin said after the win.
His coach praised the performance, noting, “He showed maturity and ring control throughout.” A rival finalist admitted, “He was the better boxer on the day.”
