The issue arose following concerns raised by match officials, prompting the game’s governing body to seek clarification from the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
ICC chairman Jay Shah confirmed the matter is under review. “We are looking into all reports before taking an appropriate call,” he said, stressing the need to uphold discipline at major events. A Bangladesh board official insisted the team had no intent to violate rules, stating: “We have cooperated fully and presented our explanation.”
