IPL 2026 Second-Half Schedule Coming in Days, Confirms BCCI’s Saikia
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed the remaining 54-match IPL 2026 schedule will be out within days, telling Times of India: “We will announce the remaining IPL-2026 in a few days’ time.”
The board had only released fixtures for the first 20 matches — running till April 12 — due to assembly elections in key host states including West Bengal, Assam, and Tamil Nadu.
Despite the staggered rollout, the IPL final date is already locked in — Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium will host the decider on May 31.
BCCI sources also indicated the league will proceed without any curtailment, dismissing concerns over a possible fuel and energy crisis affecting venues.
