KKR land tall pacer Muzarabani ahead of IPL
Kolkata Knight Riders have signed Zimbabwe speedster Blessing Muzarabani ahead of the new IPL season, adding serious height and pace to their bowling attack. The 6ft 8in quick joins the Kolkata franchise after building a reputation as one of Zimbabwe’s most dangerous fast bowlers in international cricket.
“We’re pleased to bring him in,” a KKR team source told The Indian Express. “His bounce and pace can trouble any batting lineup.”
Muzarabani called the move a major step in his career. “Playing in the IPL is a dream and a great challenge,” he said.
The signing gives KKR a fresh fast-bowling option as the franchise gears up for another title chase.
